Analytics and data collection
Prior Moves uses PostHog for analytics to monitor site performance and user behaviour. PostHog analytics are loaded with consent disabled by default via consent.js. No information is captured until you opt in via the consent banner. PostHog's own privacy policy governs how they process data once consent is given.
Data captured on consent includes page views, user interactions, and performance metrics. This data helps us understand how the site is used and identify issues.
Session and authentication
When you use a login link, we set a session cookie that persists for 30 days. This cookie identifies you and keeps you logged in. It does not contain sensitive information and is secure (httpOnly, secure flag).
Payment information
Subscription billing is handled by Stripe. Prior Moves does not store your payment card data; Stripe holds it according to their own security standards and privacy policy.
Your email address is used for login links and subscription alerts. We do not sell or share your email with third parties.
Watchlists and data storage
Watchlists are stored in Cloudflare KV, keyed by a hash of your email address. They are not linked to your identity and are not shared.
Third-party services
Prior Moves uses only Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (hosting and analytics), and PostHog (analytics). We do not integrate with advertising networks or data brokers.
Your rights
You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting howard@priormoves.com. We will delete your email, session cookies, and watchlist entries within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as needed. Changes take effect when posted to this page.
